No dignity at Clientele

Very disappointed with Clientele and the way the handle customers. On the 5th of December 2019 I was looking for quotations for funeral cover for both my parents despite informing the consultant over the phone that I merely required a quotation to compare, he convinced me that I had to purchase the policy in order to receive detailed policy information, and that I would have 30 days to cancel the policy obligation free. After finding a better policy I then cancelled the policy I had with Clientele, to my surprise Clientele took the liberty to debit my account TWICE on the 13th of December. I managed to reverse the first debit order but have been going back and forth trying to recoup the rest of my money. Their consultants lie to me each time I call telling me a refund has been processed and I will receive the money the following day which has yet to happen. Dealing with Clientele for the short period that I have had to deal with them has been such a displeasure, they definitely fulfill the stereotype of a greedy financial services provider that only cares about getting your money. Will definitely never consider using them again.
