False promises from Clientele and their trials on covid related deaths!

My father had taken out a funeral policy with clientele and unfortunately on the 8th of July 2021 he passed away from covid related complications. The company had been making deductions every month, so when we filed a claim while preparing for his burial we were told he had not completed his trial......mind you that he (my father)had passed way from covid.The whole country is facing a pandemic and other major companies are treating the covid related claims with agency and don't include covid in the waiting period as cause of death. So in other words the policy will lapse without doing what it is supposed to do. On the other hand their sales consultants at shopping complexes and malls says there is no trial period if the cause of the is covid.
