I was talked through a policy offering, which I was keen to take up, on condition that I was able to study it first.

I was sent a link to their online self-help site which I accessed but was unsuccessful in registering. When I called for assistance I was told that someone would call me, which didn’t happen. I called back and told the same thing, still nothing.

I was next informed that my policy was in force. I was unimpressed and demanded cancellation.

I had mentioned that I first needed to scrutenise the policy before taking up the offer and that the deduction should come off at the end of the month /beginning of the next. Despite my cancelling the policy and receiving confirmation thereof (16/03/17) I get a second notification (22/03/17) that the debit order has gone through already???

I demanded an immediate refund. Zandile Khanyile eventually responded, it could only be done in 10 working days’ time.

This is clearly an ********* ploy of luring the public in, even if you reject there offer it is structured so that, at least, they can draw interest on your money for 2weeks.

Not acceptable!
