Clientele Life - stop phoning me
I receive calls from Clientele regularly. I ask them to remove me from their database. They tell me I must phone the client centre to ask them to do this. Why do I have to call them to stop receiving unsolicited calls?
I was a client of Clientele many years ago and it's possible that I ticked a box agreeing to receive marketing information. But if I tell them I don't want any more calls, why can't they action this? Poor service. I expect their call centre is outsourced and the people there have no access to their system, but there's still no excuse.

05 Sept 2019, 16:02 Dear Chris S, We thank you for escalating your concerns to us and allowing us the opportunity to address your complaint.
Our response to the matter refers:
We confirm that all our data is received from external suppliers. This data is sourced through multiple channels, namely, Credit Bureaus, Public Domain Information and Data Acquisitions.
We have since requested for your details to be removed from our database, however the process may take up to a month for your details to be completely removed and for you to no longer receive further communication from our offices. Furthermore, it is important to note that other companies who receive their information through the same channels may have your details and you could still be contacted for other promotional campaigns. Therefore, to prevent same from happening in future, please ensure that your information is listed on the 'Do Not Contact' list.
It is important to note that all our suppliers must adhere to national legislation and their data is checked against the national 'Do Not Contact' list hosted by the DMA. More information on this can be found at www.dmasa.org We trust you find this in order, however should you require any further assistance please feel free to contact us again.
