Clientele hospital claim

I am very dissapointed in Clientele Life. I started a hospital plan with the a few months ago (less than 6 months) and in the terms and conditions they do say that they will not cover a sickness or illness within the first 6 months, only accident related claims will be accepted. I tripped and cut my leg open during a run about a month and a half ago. That resulted in stitches and 2 days later I noticed it getting red and swollen and went back to the doctor to get antibiotics etc. Another 2 days later the cut was getting worse and I started getting fevers. I returned to my GP and he admitted me to hospital with cellulitus. I spent 5 days in hospital that cost a small fortune and now when it comes to claiming back from Clientele they are denying my claim saying its a sickness, agreed, to an extent. Cellulitus is a sickness but it was due to the accident that I had when I fell. It is not a pre existing illness that I could see coming and suddenly tookout a policy to help cover costs. I did not have stitches in my leg with massive swelling and ridiculous temperatures when I took out the policy. I think they are being completely unreasonable. Unfortunately for them I am claiming more than what I have paid in, tough. thats the way insurance works. You manage to make thousands from some and you will have to pay out to others. If you want trouble free insurance I definitely wouldnt suggest Clientele Life.

All reports from the doctors were already given to you, please feel free to investigate yourselves and ask them if this is a pre existing condition. Personally i think that comment is obsurd. The cut happened on the 18th of february and the cut led to cellulitus. Do you think Ive had cellulitus in my left leg since I took out the policy? Please... I wouldve lost my leg. I have multiple witnesses that can prove it was a accident. This is pathetic

You can also simply Google what causes Cellulitis and will find that it is caused by cuts etc. I did not have that cut where the cellulitis was for months back when I started this policy.

I have forwarded a letter via email from the doctor saying it is not pre existing and is from my fall where I cut my leg.
