Clientele - disappointment

Good Day. I am absolutely disappointed in Clientele. They offered me a policy that would cover my mother in hospital. She was unemployed and due to her history I had to get her onto to medical aid for hospital cover - I do also understand pre-existing conditions are excluded for a 12 month period - thats fine. She then cut her hand open one evening. I tried calling the 24 hr helpline and was told I could take her to Entabeni. Upon arrival I was told to pay R2,000 as they do not accept Clientele as it is not a medical aid. I paid as my mom's life is an absolute priority. I then contacted Clientele to request that to be refunded and was advised that it only pays you R2,000 per day on day 3 of admission into hospital and is actually a health insurance policy. Upon requesting immediate cancellation I was informed that a debit order would still go off as they need 30 days notification. I am appalled and cannot believe in this time of absolute desperation and fear in our country and accross the world that people can be so insensitive. Is it really all about sales and commission and not about peoples lives. who the hell has money to throw around!!! I am furious.
