Bad Disservice by Clientele Life. Claim no. S***

We contacted Clientele in the week beginning on the 17th of February to 22nd of February 2025, regarding the Claim, Ref no. SO259774 on the passing of their Client, Nobuhle Pretty Mahlaba, ID *** 086 who had passed on on the 15th February 2025. Customer care took us through to all required documents to institute a claim and all documents that they required were e-mailed together with the beneficiary's details, in this case Miss Busisiwe Mirriet Fish/Mjiyakho, ID *** 080 who is also the parent to the deceased. On doing the follow up on the Claim we were informed that Clientele Life will not be paying for that Funeral Benefit as there was 1 month that was outstanding. The cover is month to month. The month Clientele was referring to is January of 2025. The deceased fell ill in October 2024 up until February 2025 when she finally succumbed. She was ill for a period longer than 3 months. This made her unable to work as she was hospitalised most of the time. She was then declared unfit to work and wages/salaries were cut. Clientele did not bother to seek proof that the deceased was always in hospital which led apparently to her missing one months payment, but instead Clientele went on to reject the Claim, saying the deceased should have asked a family member to pay for that premium. Do you always remember everything in a sick bed? We are very much unhappy with the kind of disservice we received from Clientele. We were asked to speak to Prescious Ndaba, who tried to help but escalated the matter to Lleballo and we were advised to send an e-mail to complaints arbitrator and we are in the 3rd week now and nothing has ever happened, no one has ever come forth and tried to assist. We have sent e-mails just requesting feedback, all in vain. If somebody can help please let them. The mother had to go to loan sharks to have her daughter burried, and it was not with dignity, she also suffered a lot of depression which led to her being hospitalised. The trauma is still on going. Is this what we are being fooled to believe by Clientele's adverti*****ts all over the media?
