************ and devious targeting the most vulnerable
This company targets vulnerable people and ***** their money! My gardener is illiterate and they signed him up for a funeral policy. He received no written information, they never took a phone number - just his bank account details. Clientele take his R200 monthly and when he dies how the heck does the family get the benefits!? He tried to call them but had no luck. When I try and help they say they can't talk to me due to Popi. How can Clientele take advantage of these vulnerable people!!! It is utterly disgusting!!

08 Apr 2026, 10:33Clientele suddenly contact him after this and they have agreed to cancel this policy but told him he will get no money back! R200 pm for him is a lot of money. We will be taking this further as this cannot be within his consumer protection rights! No understand, no correspondence and even now when they called him they would only explain it to him (and he has very little clue what is going on with this policy) and refused to talk to his sister who is helping him. Definitely taking advantage of vulnerable people. I read some of the other reviews - this is not the first person who this has happened to and because they are uneducated they don't know their rights!

16 Apr 2026, 10:52Wow!!! So the "independent" arbitrator says Clientele did nothing wrong - what a surprise!!! Clientele sent a text message to an ILLITERATE person and he "agreed" to the terms of the message by not replying.
I rest my case! Clientele are targeting VULNERABLE individuals! Utterly disgraceful. I will be taking this further!!
