UNHAPPY PENSIONER
I am a pensioner, I contacted Clientel Legal and bought a policy for myself in November 23 and my partner as a Xmas gift. I made it very clear, that my debit order should not run prior to the 3rd as my pension comes in then. The supervisor that took over the call congratulated me on the phone and again I said the policy debit order must not run on 25th as he was trying to convince me to do that. Calls are recorded so my info can be checked. On 25th November debit order ran. My son sent me a little money for a dentist appointment.. I have phoned in every single month using my airtime to resolve the issue. Again December the debit ran, I had no funds in that time of the month, I then EFT. I have emailed numerous times, no contact made. Again Jan the debit order ran 25th. I eventually got hold of a supervisor.I said rather debit 5th to be sure pension is in So on 25 of Feb and Again 9 days later on 2nd of Feb debit order ran. Why? I am told because I changed my debit order date. I am suppose to pay end of each month. Not 9 days later, Capitec bank refuses to stop or return any Clientel debit order. So I have no say over my own bank account. Early tracking was placed on my bank account without my permission. I feel my bank account was hijacked. I cannot understand why if I change my debit date, I must pay 9 days later. It's due end of each month. Capitec is not their for me as client. I pay bank feeshabe no say over my own money.Clientel I feel is just their to take money. How if admin does not know what they doing, is the legal team going to resolve any issues moving forward. No matter what I do, Capitec won't return and Clientel states I had to pay the one premium earlier due to me changing my payment date. Never heard of that.
