Repudiation of Claim

I have been a client of Clientele Legal for years now and my latest claim to hem has been repudiated, i was sent a long letter stating why my claim cannot be honored and advised that if I object to this I should do so in writing to the Repudiations department. I have done so and when I call Clientele Legal up to follow up on when I can expect feedback on my claim I was advised that the same people that declined my claim will be reviewing it and advising me if if can proceed.... I have 2 issues with this: 1. They are unable to tell me when I can expect a response on the enquiry regarding the repudiation. 2. Why are the same individuals that declined the claim going to make a decision on the repudiation enquiry? Surely there should be some objectivity to this process, I dont see how the individuals that initially declined the claim are going to now make a objective decision on whether the claim is going to be reinstated?

When I called the contact center i was advised that the claim has been closed, how can the claim be closed if there is still an on - going enquiry?

The lawyer that was assigned to my case was available but did not speak to me, she instead chose to pass on her comments to me via a colleague, completely unprofessional.

Kind Regards, Ashnee

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We confirm that we attempted to contact you on even date without success in respect of this matter.

We do confirm that we have re-assessed your matter as per our dispute procedure. After careful consideration we are still of the opinion that your claim falls outside the ambit of your legal policy and will therefore not enjoy legal cover.

As we have not been able to address your concerns to your satisfaction, your complaint was escalated to an independent body, being the Complaints Arbitrator for investigation, who has the authority to overturn any decision made by us.
