Poor legal guidance and lack of support on my case – client forced to follow up for next steps

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Clientèle Legal regarding my legal matter.

I submitted a tombstone dispute case expecting proper legal assistance and follow-through in line with my legal cover. A 7-day letter of demand was issued on my behalf, however I have since discovered that Clientèle Legal has not even contacted the company or taken any further steps on my case.

When the deadline expired, there was no communication or update from Clientèle Legal. I had to be the one to call and ask what the next step should be. Only then was I told to proceed to the Small Claims Court, without any proper explanation of the process or guidance on what documents or steps are required.

I am very concerned that:

* The company I am in dispute with was not even contacted after the letter of demand * There was no proactive follow-up or case progress from Clientèle Legal * I had to initiate contact just to find out what is happening with my own case * I was given instructions to go to court without proper guidance or explanation

I also later learned through my own research that Small Claims Court normally requires a 14-day letter of demand as best practice, which was never explained to me. This has caused confusion and unnecessary uncer*****y in my matter.

I feel that I have had to manage and investigate my own legal case despite paying for legal assistance, which defeats the purpose of having legal cover.

I received a message stating that Clientèle had tried to call me and that I should call back. However, when I called back, I was told that the person who had been trying to contact me was on another call and could not assist me.

What happens now? Why ask customers to return the call if the only person who can assist is unavailable? Surely there should be notes on the system so that another consultant can assist instead of wasting the customer’s time and causing further frustration.

This level of communication and customer service is extremely disappointing.

Clientèle Legal frequently advertises and emphasizes that many legal matters can be resolved through telephonic intervention by their legal team without clients needing to go through the stress and costs of court processes. However, in my matter, this was never done. The supplier involved has not even been contacted by Clientèle Legal at all.
Instead of taking the basic step of engaging the supplier telephonically as they claim to do for clients, I was left to follow up myself and eventually told to go to the Small Claims Court. This completely defeats the purpose of paying for legal assistance and raises concerns about the level of service and intervention actually provided.
At this point, I feel I can do all of this myself, as I have been the one making follow-ups and trying to move the matter forward without any meaningful assistance from Clientèle Legal. Due to the poor service, lack of communication, and failure to assist with my matter as promised, I now would like assistance with cancelling my Clientèle Legal cover.

I feel like I am not being heard at all. Every response I receive focuses on explaining my rights and the processes available, yet that is not the issue I raised.

What I have been asking for from the beginning is very simple — I want Clientèle Legal to contact the supplier directly regarding my complaint and provide me with feedback on that engagement. Instead, I keep receiving lengthy explanations about the CGSO and Small Claims Court while the supplier has still not being contacted.

It feels like there is a lot of ducking and diving instead of addressing my actual concern. I should not have to continuously follow up and push for action when this is the assistance I am paying for.

Please confirm whether the supplier has been contacted, when this was done, who was spoken to, and what feedback was received.

Please confirm the cancellation process, any notice periods applicable, and the effective cancellation date in writing.
