Demand for Contract Cancellation, Database Removal, and Stop on DebiCheck

I am writing to formally demand the immediate cancellation of any contract or policy associated with my name and details at Clientèle.I am completely uninterested in your services and have already declined your payment mandates via my banking app. Despite this, I continue to receive digital tracking notifications.

I explicitly demand that Clientèle performs the following actions immediately:Cancel any active or pending agreements linked to my profile.Permanently remove my personal and banking information from your active marketing and transactional databases.Cease all future requests for DebiCheck mandates against my Capitec bank account.I do not authorize your company to store my details or push electronic payment authorizations to my device. I expect written confirmation here or via email that my profile has been completely scrubbed from your records.

Dear Kamogelo M,
Thank you for contacting us. We acknowledge your formal demand regarding the cancellation of services and the removal of your personal information. We have taken immediate action and can confirm the following details regarding your account:
 ·   Policy Status: Your policy is completely inactive and is currently on a Hold status. It will only be activated if the DebiCheck mandate is approved from your side. ·   Debit Orders: There will be no debit orders sent to your bank account as long as the DebiCheck mandate remains unapproved. ·    Contact Information: We have successfully removed your contact details from our marketing and transactional communication databases to halt further automated tracking notifications. ·    IT Escalation: We have escalated your profile to our IT department to completely prevent any further DebiCheck mandate requests from being pushed to your Capitec account. ·    System Timeline: We cannot currently confirm exactly how long it will take for the mandate configuration to be entirely removed from your profile by our technical team. We will follow up with you with a final confirmation once the IT department completes this action. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience these notifications have caused you. Yours sincerely,  Nonhlanhla NgwenyaService Support Specialist Clientele Life

Thank you for your response, but your explanation is entirely incorrect and unacceptable. You state that the policy will only activate if I approve the DebiCheck mandate and that no debit orders will be sent. However, I have attached a screenshot of my actual Capitec banking profile which clearly shows that the mandate status for CLIENTELE *** is already marked as "Approved" on my bank's side as of 27 August 2026.I did not approve this. Your sales representative or your system bypassed the standard protocol to force this approval through to my bank. Because it says "Approved" on Capitec, your system will automatically attempt to deduct R170.00 from my Main Account on the 1st of the next month.I do not accept your timeline of "waiting for the IT department." Because this mandate is active on my bank profile due to your agent's unauthorized actions, I demand that Clientèle manually log into your banking system and delete / recall this active mandate instruction immediately before the 1st of the month. Please provide immediate confirmation that the bank mandate instruction—not just your internal policy status—has been deleted.
