Debiting cancelled policy

So, here I am thinking I've cancelled this policy and also received a confirmation sms stating that the policy has been cancelled.This happened last month already and the next day a debit went through my account and I thought I'm paying for a notice period. However, there goes the debit order today. Someone please tell me what I am paying for? I don't remember any insurance policy being billed in areas. This is sneaky behaviour or you people are just outright ***********. Im not even going to reverse this transaction cos I'm incurring unnecessary costs and for what? I demand a refund and an apology!
