CLIENTELE: RUDE AND ******** MARKETING
If a business doesn't abide to the Poppi act, or have respect for your privicy, do you think they will handle your money differently? At 16:46 today I received a call from Clientele AGAIN. I told the marketer that I have not gave them permission to contact me and that it is against the law. She rep**** that she "knows about the Poppi act, and I don't have to tell her." She then hang up.

I am using the above communication from Clientele to review this company again. Please note how Clientele uses my review and shifts the focus from them to me:
“Your query has been escalated to the relevant department for investigation and we will be in contact to assist.”
1. I have never lodged a query with Clientele.
2. I have never requested Clientele’s assistance and never will.
"We confirm that we have investigated your complaint; however, we attempted to contact you to obtain more details to investigate your matter further."
3. Hellopeter.com is a platform for reviews, not complaints.
4. I reviewed Clientele because they contacted me without my permission, contravening
the Popi Act, wanting to warn South African consumers. Still they are contacting me.
5. " I have to give them more information.”
I wrote the review with all the facts, even stating the time and number of the phone
call. Surely the call was recorded.
It is not my duty to assist Clientele sorting out their Company’s policies and
procedures.
“Please provide us with an alternative number or alternatively call the number which was sent to your cell phone via SMS”
I have to provide an alternative number for them to continue to contact me. The audacity of this company and the way they treat me and my review, blatantly changing facts to suit them, leave me speechless.
If they contact me again, I will most definitely open a case against Clientele, and I urge consumers who are harassed by marketing companies to do the same. Also, carefully consider the level of professionalism, before you entrust your finances and therefore your future to any company.
