Clientele Legal *****ing from my Capitec Bank
Hello Peter,
I write to you distressed. I have just started work as Shop Assistant at a clothing shop. This is my first job as I completed matric in 2019 and have been unemployed the whole of 2020.
I was shocked when I had a debit order of R230 on my Capitec Bank account from Clientele. I have never done any transaction with them nor anyone for that matter. But when I went to Capitec to inform that that I have no knowledge of this debit order and would like to have it cancelled. They advised that there is nothing they can do with it as it is irreversible. They informed me I should contact Clientele to request a reversal of this transaction and get my money back. I contacted Clientele and they advised me that I have a policy in place for Clientele Legal. I have never signed any documents to this Policy nor would I join a policy of this nature. When I requested my money back and for this to be investigated, they advised me that I must await a call from their cancellation department. it has been over a week I have been waiting. Clearly this is how they operate in de*****ing people. I am so upset as this is a massive amount to me given the little that I earn. I am more worried that they might continue *****ing from my account if nothing is not done. I really need help.
