Clientèle Legal - First Class Dodgers when it comes to honoring policies

I signed up with FNB legal. Ran into a conflict of interest problem and cancelled. Then joined Clièntele Legal - prompt on collecting premiums but my word, try calling them. We all know that feeling when someone tries to brush you off and get you off the line. This lady is a pro. Then i kept receiving messages: we tried to contact you. iF YOU WORK FOR A LIVING, AS I DO, MAYBE TRYING MORE THAN ONCE WOULD WORK. So, today, I am cancelling my policy. When the cover runs out that you already deducted from my account, you are in no way authorised to collect any further premiums and I will deem it to be theft if any such attempt is mde. Fortunately I could write my own Letter of Demand and handle my problem myself. If I waited for the DESMOND-DUBE-GLORIFIED Clientèle I would still be waiting. What a waste of money, trust, and millions in marketing. Why don't you just shut your doors and do us all a fvor.

I received the phone-call, and if anything, it agitated me even more. This matter literally related to a life or death situation. Yet, your 48 hour waiting policy supersedes anything from being raised to any level of urgency. Your operator asked me if I knew the identity of the attackers, which I obviously did not, and could not comprehend that I wanted to force the Body Corporate to carry out repairs on a security system that is broken more often than it is not. So, within that 48 hours, somebody could have been ****ed, and I'd still be waiting for the time to run out to speak to an adviser. Just speak. That would not even address the letter of demand as yet. It is so incredible it borders on being funny in a sick way. Nobody should believe that they could side-step the mandatory 48 hour turnaround time for assistance. Unless you plant a bomb at their corporate head-office, you won't get much reaction. I am appalled by the fact that my premiums ever contributed to your budget. A budget that ensures salaries and overheads are paid, and clients are attended to whenever the 48 hour bell pings loud enough. You clock in, do what you absolutely have to do, and then go home. No repercussions whatsoever. I handled my own matter and wrote my own letter of demand and got an immediate response from the complex. Should I add "amateur-lawyer" to my CV now? I had this issue with Clientèle Legal a year ago with a Telkom matter, and now again with the security matter. After raising a storm, Clientèle did finally get a response from Telkom. Yet, a year later, and here we are again. In a year, nothing changed or improved. You are out of chances, and I will make every attempt to speak out against Clientèle Legal whenever the opportunity presents itself. My policy is deemed cancelled, with cover seizing upon the next payment date, when you will no longer be authorised to deduct money from my account. I assure you, any attempt to collect a premium will create a bigger stir than just a hellopeter posting.

Your Telkom matter was lodged at the end of March 2015. We resolved the matter and a refund was processed within a reasonable time. This process was in your best interest as the matter was finalised without lengthy litigation.

We received you recent matter on 10 May 2016 where you were given legal advice. You informed that you would send an email to the third party and would further copy us. We advised that your legal adviser would peruse your file and revert to you thereafter. The legal adviser made contact with you on 12 May to assist; however you advised her that you no longer require assistance as you had already resolved the matter. A subsequent complaint was lodged due to you being of the opinion that we provided poor service. The writer spoke to you yesterday in an attempt to address your complaint and the legal aspects or your claim. The conversation was unfortunately not successful.

We further take note of your comments with regards to our staff and business, we respectfully disagree with the opinion. We have actioned your Policy as requested.
