CLIENTELE LEGAL FALSELY ADVERTISE

I joined Clientele Legal last year after viewing their ads on tv. They ads are false. They donot assist you with any claims. In fact they look for clauses in the policy not to assist with the claim. I requested legal advice regarding an immigration matter. At first I was informed that it was an administrative matter. I indicated to them that it was not an administrative matter and I needed advice. They then informed me that the legal advisors are not suitably informed about immigration law to provide me with the advice. I then indicated to them that if they cannot provide me with legal advice then allow me to go and see an attorney regarding this matter. The lady called me back to say that my matter is an administrative one. I said I know its not an administrative matter then I asked her to cancel my policy. She then informed me that she would refer my claim to management. After numerous emails I was told that management will not cover my claim. I asked for this in writing. Someone then called me andback referred me to a clause in ths policy. This clause was so vague. I informed her of this. I also informed her that if they cannot refer me to an attorney to get legal advice then they should give me a refund of all my premiums as they cannot provide me with the services that I requested. This was on the 23 October 2019 and shehe said my matter would be finalised within 7 days. Lies lies lies. They falsely advertise on tv. I have complained about this matter to the insurance ombdusman. I want my refunds that I have paid to this company because they cannot provide me with the services I require. Why should I pay premiums and they cannot assist me with legal advice.

Dear BBR,

We have attempted to contact you telephonically on a few occasions today. Unfortunately we have not been able to get hold of you to address your concerns.

We do understand your frustration, but unfortunately your claim does fall outside the ambit of your Legal Policy, since the matter is excluded under the policy. Please note that once Home Affairs has made a decision, we will be able to offer limited assistance in the form of advice in relation to the legal options that will be available to you in order to pursue the matter further. We look forward to receiving your feedback in this regard and are eager to assist you further.

We apologise for the dissatisfaction with regards to your claims experience, but would like to assure you that we strive to provide accurate and professional assistance to ensure that our clients’ interests are protected at all times.

Dear Mr Mbatha

I am aware of youll trying tocontact me on three occasions. Unfortunately I was travelling and my reception was not good.

Can you please refer me to the clause in the policy where it states that my claim will not be covered.
According to my understanding I requested legal advice with regards to an immigration matter , I was informed that your legal advisers donot have the legal expertise in immigration law. I then requested that I be allowed to go and see an immigration attorney. I was told that it is an administrative matter. It is not an administrative matter but a legal one. I was then emailed a list of people to contact at Home Affairs. If I did not exhaust my resources of contacting the Department of Home Affairs on various occasions as well as having visited their offices on a number of occcasions I wouldnt have deemed it necessary to seek legal advice.

So for you to tell my you can understand my frustrations, the only company that I am frustrated with is Clientele Legal because you falsely advertise and mislead the public. " If you need Legal advice then contact Clientele Legal". You are now finding ways to tell me that my matter falls outside the scope of this policy. Please refer me to the clause number. I have emailed your company to cancel this policy in August 2019 and yet your company is still debiting my bank account to date.

If your cannot provide me with the services that I am paying for then I want a full refund of my money that I have contributed to this policy.

Thank you.
