Cancelled my claim
I have joined in April 2016 . The companies FCO embezzled company funds, whilst employed, this incident happened in 2015. However after finding out about the offend people the. Board requested that he borrow money to repay the company. Standard Bank according to him requested a loan agreement. I drafted a contract with an addendum stating very clearly that agreement is only for the above purpose. He started to repay the money embezzled and on the 1 March 2017 stopped payment. Clientele referred this case to an external lawyer and Advocate. During all the mails I did not acknowledge the contract . Clientele legal has cancelled the claim as I am not prepare to prejudice myself. The Advocate has advised Clientele that we do have a strong case. It seems to me clientele is trying to get out of this.,

The only dispute which indeed qualified for legal cover was the third party’s breach of contract, which breach arose after you joined us. Cover was provided for external representation; however during your consultations with the appointed Attorney and Advocate, new information was disclosed by you (which was not previously disclosed to our office) which negatively affects your prospects of success in the matter.
Due to the lack of prospects, as indicated by external legal representatives, your claim unfortunately falls outside the ambit of your Legal Business Policy and are we unable to offer further assistance herein.
