Appalling service and advice

I was unfairly retrenched (without any consultation and discriminated upon) .I was given a notice that i am retrenched one morning and when i consulted CL they made me attend Post- retrenchment consultations when other employees who went to private lawyers left on the day and sued the company and won their case, The application of the so-called agreed criteria (s****s retention) by my employers was riddled with flaws. CL advised me to take the matter to labour court and contracted a law firm to file papers accordingly. One morning some short fused consultant from CL me a told their management felt there was no case and CL was not covering my case any longer and that if I wanted to peruse the matter further i would do so in my personal capacity. sad part about it was the due date to respond was less that 24hrs away which pretty much meant finding a lawyer within 24hrs when was on the road was a mission impossible, I have to raise legal fees in less than 12hrs. the consultant assured me there is no way for their team to change my mind. That pretty much handed the case to my previous employer on a silver platter. when I contacted the firm which filed the papers at the labour court the said they didn't advice CL to withdraw , the would have taken it further there was a case the be won.
