Worst online clinic booking management

Made a clinic online booking for the Clicks in Key West. I even received a confirmation of my booking for Wednesday 8 May 2019 10:00 via email and SMS.

Made it to Clicks on time for my booking only to be told that they do not have a nurse on that day or any other day for that matter as their clinic is not operational.

Why did the system allow me to make a booking in the first place? Why did I even receive a confirmation and reminder SMS for my booking? I have wasted time and have been inconvenienced greatly while not forgeting the fruitless 30km (return trip) I drove.
