Why advertise if you don't have stock throughout the period of the special??

Clicks had a special running on a specific product that I use for my kids everyday which I buy 1-2 bottles of monthly (zinplex). This time, they had a special running for 'get 3 and pay for 2'. However, from the Friday up until the next Tuesday I either went into the store or called around looking for the item but apparently there wasn't any stock. Nothing in my area (which has 3 Clicks) and another area close to work. I asked for a reincheck but I was told that Clicks doesn't give those. The very next day after the special ended there was miraculously stock. I contacted the complaints department because I felt like I should get the discount seeing that I've wasted petrol money and airtime looking for the item and the disgusting response was "we now have stock in your area". I rep**** saying that my complaint was not resolved but I haven't gotten a reply ever since. Pathetic!
