Unsavoury & unprofessional service

This morning I was reminded why SA is deemed the worst when it comes to customer service. My brief visit to Clicks on Elloff Street was annoying & appalling, to say the least. I was looking for an item & was happy to see that they actually had it on special. The signage was not very clear as to what I get for the price I would be paying so I started looking around for a Clicks shop assistant close by. I looked on 3 different isles and could not find anyone to help me. I resorted to going to the tills to ask for assistance. That's where I saw a guy with a manager's name tag, Jeffrey! I asked Jeffrey to assist me. I was in a hurry & just wanted information, buy the items & be on my way however that is not what happened. Jerry, the Elloff str Clicks store manager, firstly refused to help me & kept insisting that there are assistants who can help me around the store. I then told him that had I seen assistants in any of the isles, i would have never bothered to come to him. He was rude & dismissive. Then he finally found an assistant, Katlego, in the make up isle, who was clueless about their sale signage on my needed item. Needless to say I'm going to check how many point i have on my Clicks gold card, spend them ASAP & forget i ever shopped there as today was the final straw after the horrible service I'd been receiving from them the past 3+ yrs after being a loyal customer for over 10 yrs
