Unprofessional service

Over the weekend my family and I visited the local clicks in Ladysmith, after getting a few items we moved over to the fragrance department where we noticed a particular brand with a certain percentage off. A family member decided to try the tester and used it twice on his wrist and once on his neck,I apologize if this is the incorrect manner in which testers were to be used and I would have refrained from doing this if I was kindly told the correct manner in which the testers were to be used. However I was brought to disgust when a clicks employee nastily told us that the "testers are for customers only " which we took as an insult . I had products which I was obviously purchasing and even if I had no been making a purchase does this justify the manner in which the employee spoke to us ? An argument broke out between the manager , employee and us . The manager made no attempt to resolve the situation and continued to be rude. Amongst reporting this on my Facebook wall as well as clicks page , the employees daughter who was not even present at the time felt the need to make assumumptions as to what took place and proceeded to mock us on social media .

In conclusion I would like to state that I'm extremely disappointed in this behaviour , especially coming from a sales background. Sales consultants are trained to treat the customers as "king". Perhaps clicks ladysmith needs to attend the customer service training yet again. I would also appreciate a formal apology from the clicks employee, manager as well as the employees daughter .

this really portrays clicks in a bad light and will make me think twice before shopping there again !
