Uninformed unhelpful staff
I received an sms on Friday 20th August 2021 after applying online for my covid vaccine that i have an appointment at Clicks the Glen at 14:40. I have done this after hearing on various media sources that we should make appointments. on Arrival i went straight to the clinic, and was informed that there is no such thing as appointments at the store, this after i had to take early leave from work and reschedule my meetings. the clinic sister also said no, I was told to join the queue outside, but they already reached cut off for the day . I asked to see the manager who informed the lady assisting the sister at the clinic that it is a valid sms and they have to honour it. I filled out my form and received the sms, this means my details were already capyured on the system. After 15:10 i was informed someone was there to take a normal flu vaccine and then i would go in, another person went in to receive the covid vaccine, when i asked the assistant she rep**** i must follow the queue with like 40 people in it, i infomred her i had a n appointment almost half an hour ago and it should take preferance of walk-ins, and i had to take my little one along who was by now restless. i was then told that the sister at the clinic is her own boss and does not take instructions from the manager. I told the lady the clinic is inside clicks and would then form part of clicks, after arguing with me i eventually received the vaccine an hour later.
I was constantly told that the dpeartment is doing their own things. as a customer of a wide national outlet this type of treatment is disgusting and pathetic
i did register on the clicks website for the vaccine. if staff is not infomred they should take it up to management and not on the customer.
