Unhappy with service

Dear Clicks Customer Service, I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the service I received today at your store. I visited the Pavilion Clicks store after seeing an online promotion for the Oambrrok Aspire Espresso Maker priced at R200. The website indicated that this item was available specifically at Pavilion Clicks and out of stock at other locations. Upon arriving in store, I spoke to a sales assistant who went to check for stock. He returned and informed me that only one unit was available, but it had been returned by a customer due to being faulty. I was then directed to the store manager, who stated that there was no stock available at all. This experience was extremely frustrating, as I spent money on petrol and time traveling to the store based on information that appears to be inaccurate or misleading. It is unacceptable for customers to be inconvenienced in this way due to incorrect stock information or lack of transparency from staff. I would like clarity on the following: Why does the website show stock availability when there is none? Why was I given conflicting information by staff members? Will i get this as i have proof that it is available at this store? What steps will be taken to ensure that this does not happen to other customers? I request a formal response and resolution to this matter, as this experience has negatively impacted my perception of your brand.
