Unacceptable conduct by Clicks

My family, including our helper, had been booked to have the flu vaccine at Clicks Balfour Park today. This was done online. The booking was telephonically confirmed yesterday i.e. the day before the scheduled booking. When we arrived at Clicks, we were informed that the nurse was not at work. After enquiries were made (whilst we waited), it transpired that the nurse forgot that she was on duty. I took up the shoddy service with the pharmacy manager. This was done telephonically. She then spoke to her superior, apparently the area manager, and reverted that Clicks would give me a voucher for the costs of the vaccines only. That is an insult. The offer was rejected with the contempt that it deserves. My family and our helper (who does not work on Saturdays), have been inconvenienced, given up their time (which was wasted) and treated poorly . We now have to go to a doctor to have the vaccines administered (I paid for them at Clicks) at my expense and our time. Clicks did not offer to pay for the costs of administering the vaccines. And what about our helper? Why was she not offered any compensation? The area manager was too important to call me. Clicks cares nothing for us. To offer compensation of only the costs of the vaccine is hardly an offer. All the facts were given to the pharmacy manager. She did apologise and she and the staff at the branch were very polite and are to be commended, however, the same cannot be said for the senior management. My family and I want nothing to do with Clicks in the future. We will not make purchases from it. Dischem would not act in the manner that Clicks has. Clicks should be ashamed . I informed the pharmacy manager that if the matter was not adequately resolved, I would take to Hello Peter and Facebook. Thus, Clicks were given a fair opportunity to resolve the matter. They have elected not to. Goodbye Clicks. You have lost customers.

I am still awaiting Clicks' response to this complaint.

Evidently they have done nothing.
