Tshepo Selepe is a Stellar Pharmacist and he deserves his Stars

Let me start by saying that we are living in extreme circumstances with no clear indication of when or how this pandemic is going to come to an end. Frontline workers risks their lives and the lives of their families on a daily basis to ensure that our needs and needs of our families are met. To make things worse, stores are full to capacity, people no longer wish to adhere to covid restrictions and long for things to return to normal. This can cause frustration and antagonizes an already irritable society, however we're still required to maintain our composure and behave like decent and well kept members of society. With this being said, I would like to bring to your attention that a disgruntled customer attacked one of your employees, Tshepo Selepe, at Clicks Olivedale on 15/12/2021. The pharmacist was polite, calm and did not retaliate to her demeaning behavior. She spewed all kinds of insults, made multiple threats and even attacks a few of the patrons that were present in the store. We understand that your employees are there to provide us with a service, but succumbing to patron abuse and outright disrespect does not form part of their job description. We all deserve respect, whether you're receiving the service or providing it. I do hope that when his name is mentioned with regards to the incident that took place today at Olivedale Clicks, my words and the words of his colleagues will allow you to recognize that he did nothing but be a stellar gentleman.
