Total reap off. Becareful

On the 12th April. My Doctor prescribe some medication for me. I went to Clicks pharmacy to buy the medication. The Pharmacist who was a nice lady. Rather offered to give me generic meds since i will be paying cash. And explained to me how to take the meds as the doctor prescribed and to come back for more after i finished the 30 TABLETS that she gave me. I didnt think of anything at the time as i just wanted to use the meds and get better. I paid R412.64 Gross for the meds. Couple of day later, i visited the doctor to see the progress cause the meds were just a trial. The doctor was shocked to see the quantity and the dosage intake of the meds. The doctor explained to me the She prescribed only 7 tablets and at night be not as stated by the pharmacist. The doctor further explained that this 7meds was to see the response and its not for repeat. So basically i paid for the medication that i dont need , and now just sitting i my house. It was a total reap off and money wasted. And the lady typed my contact number wrong which explained why she would do everything wrong. I wonder how many of us patients have been given wrong quantity...
