For too long now I have been experiencing problems with Clicks SA. I wrote a review last year about the same thing. Prices on the shelf and prices rung up at the tills are different, ALWAYS in favour of CLICKS SA. In April last year in Walvis bay I was "overcharged" by R50.00 on 1 item. in May last year at Clicks Cape Gate I was "overcharged" R80.00 for razor blades. Yesterday at Clicks Melkbosstrand I was "overcharged by R60.00 for Citro-Soda. Ths is the SECOND time in 3 months that I have had a problem at Melkbosstrand. I have been a loyal customer for over 25 years. The history on My Club card will verify the errors and the amount of years I have been a loyal customer. My chronic medication is over R1500.00 per month and my yearly spending is over R6000.00. I am with Discovery Vitality and Clicks is my preferred supplier. Too many errors too many times and I am just ONE customer. What disturbs me is, how many customers have been cheated by these errors without realising it. I have mentioned 3 cases amounting to R190.00 imagine 1000 customers with the same problem. That equates to R190 000.00 and 10 000 customers the amount equates to almost TWO MILLION RAND. SCARY very SCARY!!! If I walked out of a Clicks store with R190.00 worth of goods, I would be arrested for shop lifting. Do I open a case of theft against CLICKS SA next time they "Rob" me? The excuses are always the same "It's a computer error. Sorry people I'm too old for that COMPUTERS DO NOT MAKE MISTAKES, HUMANS DO and these errors are happening far too often. I have family and friends who do not shop at Clicks because they say prices are not always displayed on the shelf and they have to run around to find someone to help them with a price. Is my loyalty my demise? Do I change after 25 years and shop at Dischem?? Sad because normally I have found the staff to be super friendly and helpful and prices are good, that's why I shop at Clicks BUT PLEASE management address this very real problem because if you don't you WILL lose customers and in our current economic climate we want to hold onto our customers for dear life.
