THANK YOU, TONY

I visited your branch at The Sanctuary, Somerset West today.

I am currently making use of crutches in order to walk, as I recently hurt my left knee quite severely.

When I got to the tills, I was served by a very friendly cashier, who was so patient and soft-spoken, as I had to ‘balance’ to get my cards out my wallet, put my packets down, etc, etc, etc.

He was really compassionate and understanding and kept reassuring me to relax and take my time with the transaction.

When I was ready to leave, he handed me a note, which I attach herewith. It says : “I hope you heal. Tony”, with a little “heart” on it.

Little did he know that my greatest wish is to heal sufficiently in order to resume my running, which means so much to me and which formed such an integral part of my daily routine.

My gratitude in this is immeasurable.

Tony not only brought a smile to my face today, but also a warmth around my heart, knowing that someone else also shares my wish “to heal”.

You have a gem in Tony. He is the type of employee who makes your organisation shine and worthwhile to continue visiting.

May he grow from strength to strength.
