Terrible Customer Service From Cashier!
<p>I usually shop at Balfour Park, today I went to Clicks in Balfour Park to get a few things. I stood in the line and when it was my Turn the cashier Thato called me to his counter.</p> <p> </p> <p>I asked Thato for a new Clicks card and we started a friendly conversation, the lady cashier next to him also joined in the conversatile and explained to me that if my old Clicks card was still working that I didn't need a new one etc...I laughed and told her that I just wanted a new one because the design is new compared to my old one, we laughed and she said that if my old card stopped working then I could come in and get another card. I agreed and we moved on.</p> <p> </p> <p>Thato asked me if I need a packet and I said no thanks as I did have stuff in another packet, he then proceeded to tell me the bill was R105.00 while having anorther conversation with another customer in the line. In the meantime I gave him R105.00 and then he asked for 0.90c more, so I gave him the 0.90c more and said to him that he didn't tell me R105.90 he only said R105.00 and it was because instead of finishing with me the customer in front of him he was busy chatting up the next customer. </p> <p> </p> <p>I continued to ask him ifor I'm correct or incorrect and he ignored me several times! I then asked the other guy walking past who was the branch manager in the store and he said he was, so I asked the branch manager to ask Thato if I was right or wrong by what he had done, the so calked manager had to ask Thato to answer me several times himself, after huffing and puffing Thato responded rudely to his manager and answered my question by saying that I was right that he was wrong.</p> <p> </p> <p>He refused to apologise, I then looked on the slip and asked him where was his name and he responded by saying his name and I found it on the slip. I told him that I am going to report the service I received in this branch and he smiled and said OK he doesn't care. </p> <p> </p> <p>If this is the customer service that Clicks staff are supposed to give to their customers I will never shop at Clicks again! I will only be shopping at Dischem or Ackermans pharmacy or any other store that ha's everything that Clicks has and maybe even cheaper.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am a business owner myself and this is definitely not the customer service I would give any of my clients!</p>
