TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Yesterday I experienced the worst type of treatment at Clicks in The Spark, Overport. I had purchased a hair gel and a mascara on Tuesday. The products were not opened or used as I purchased the incorrect items for my younger sister.

On arrival to the store yesterday, around 14h40. A lady by the name of Nomandla ( assistant store manager) bluntly told me that I can't return the makeup, opened the gel container and told me that the gel can't be returned either as she was on the phone. I stood and waited for about 10mins for her to finish. I was then told that I might have used the mascara, so no to the mascara. And apparently it looks like a finger smeared the gel, when there was gel stuck on the lid creating this effect.

I explained to her (Nomandla) that I made the purchases for my younger sister. It is still in the original packaging as I purchased it, still I was refused. I asked to speak to the manager Khayakazi and was told off. I felt so disrespected by the tone in which I was spoken to in. I did absolutely nothing wrong. I am a paying customer, and I was so offended. They insulted me for wanting to make a simple return. The correct product my sister needed is R96, I can not afford to make a new purchase when these items are of no use to me or her.

Even when I returned home and called the store to ask for their names they were hesitant at first when I made them aware of being the female they just insulted in their store.
