Teller laughed at me because of his wrong doing
Good day, I drove to Clicks Dobsonville during my lunch break today to buy my baby his essentials and buy Pads. I got to the counter, and found a guy by the name of Brian Ramashala(Only got his name when I was about to leave). I greatest the guy, he didnt respond instead continues his conversation with the cashier on his left, he takes the Pads, and he was about to punch the plastic. I told him I didn't want one. He continues with his conversation with his colleague, I told him I want to use my rewards(R113) which I had asked the lady on the first counter how much I had before I went to take the items I will be paying. I swipe the pads with my FNB card, and use my Clicks rewards. I than give him my Babies essentials-Wipes, juice and snacks. Bare in mind that I told him I will be using the rewards on this transaction, he takes the items, punches them on the system and continues with his conversation with his friend. I wait, and end up listening to them as they talking about their personal stuff. They see me looking at them, and tells me that the amount must pay is R120. I tell him, that I told you I will be using my rewards points on this transaction. Brian tells me that I didn't tell him, and that I can't use my rewards points twice in a day. I tell him that if he had listened to me, and concentrated on me instead of having a conversation with his friend while his busy assisting me, he would have heard from the beginning that I said "I will be using my rewards to pay" this guy laughs at me, and keeps telling me that I didn't tell him. Brian has a nerve to tell me, his words "EVEN IF I HAD LISTENED TO YOU, I would still not be able to help you because you can't use your card twice. With an attitude, and still laughing at me, he asked me" so what must I do, cause I can't help you? Must I cancel your transaction? I ask him if that's the only solution he has because it is not my fault that he didn't have the time to tell me that I can't use my rewards card twice in a day because his colleague and the conversation they were having was most important. His manager, a woman approachs us, and asks what is going on, Brian says she must ask me. I tell Brian to explain the situation to his manager because it's his fault, the manager listens and tells me that "she is sorry but Brian is right I can't use my card twice. I tell her, it's not my fault because I stated from the beginning what I wanted and I want it done. Brian still smiling, as if I am stupid keeps smiling in front of his manager, I sak Brian that you still laughing that means I am an idiot? The manager just looks at Brian and doesn't comment. Which I didn't appreciate because that was a time when she had to tell Brian what he was doing was wrong. The manager asks what she must do, I tell her to do what can be done for me to buy my baby's essentials. She answers that she can try another till or refund and start over.,I ask her to firstly check if it will approve if she uses another toll. She took me to Noxolo, who attentively listened to my story and was even surprised when I told her that Brian and their colleague were having a conversation while assisting me. He didn't hear what I wanted, now he tells me the only option he has is to refund me. Noxolo somehow apologised for Brian's attitude (instead of the manager). Guess what? The transaction went through, Noxolo assisted me as she helped me buy my Baby essentials using my rewards. I ask the manager, "what is the name of the guy that was assisting me" the manager answers "his name is Brian, I ask for his surname. Guess what, the manager answers" his surname is Brian and the name". I ask her if that's what she means that he is Brian Brian because I want to report Brian for his attitude. Then, she asks Brian, "Brian what's your surname" Brian shakes his head and laughs, this manager than asks a Male colleague a tall guy what Brian's Surname is, he answered Ramashala. What I experienced today was so heartbreaking, firstly I work from home, I took my lunch breaks so I can quickly drive to clicks to get my essentials, Secondly, Brian was not listening and concentrating on me as a client instead he continued with his colleague from the moment I got to his till. I told him his mistake, instead of asking around or asking his same colleague what he can do to rectify his mistake he tells me the only solution is to refund me for my pads. In other words, he doesn't care about my well-being and the company making money, I feel he didn't take me serious because I was using my rewards to pay for the Baby essentials, he laughed at me like an idiot, and confirmes he was not listening to me when he said"even if I was listening to you I would still not be able to assist you. The guy even smiled, with an attitude in front of his manager who didn't even reprimand him for that or apologies atleast on his behalf. I always buy at Clicks Dobsonville and Clicks Sandton, and I have never had such an experience. Is it because it is a black community mall because Clicks Sandton treats us clients with so much respect, is it because I was using rewards that's Brian saw refunding my Pads as a solution because he clearly didn't care that I take my money else where. Or is it because I am a woman, and took advantage by looking at what I was buying? Funny a lady who was also on the line to pay saw me at the Butcher, her words"sisi that guy has an attitude shame, don't let this go you must report him. Clicks dobsonville manager doesn't have good managerial skills because she allowed Brian to smile and give me attitude in front of her, she didn't want to give me Brian's surname instead told me he is Brian Brian. Other tellers are seated a sit apart, but Brian and his friend are sitting next to each other having a conversation in front of me is so ***********. I overlapped my lunch break as I thought my drive to the mall will be short as I always shop during those times. I am so disappointed at the Teller Brian Ramashala, for the attitude, for laughing at me for his doings, he was so concentrated on his colleague that he didn't even reply to me greating. If this is the way Management deals with Tellers, than the company will keep loosing, because people like Brian don't care about customer service, he doesn't care about clicks and people he serves. Atleast if the manager had apologised for Brian's attitude as he smiled in front of her, I would have calmed down. As for her not wanting to give me Brian's name when I told her I want to report Brian is something else. I am a loyal customer to Dobsonville clicks as it's a drive away from my home, but Clicks will lose me because of such incompetence. My email address is *** and cellphone number :***, I would like confirmation that Brian Ramashala has been dealt with, and the manager will go managerial skills on how to reprimand her colleagues for bad behavior in front of clients, my time and an apology for being told I can be refunded. If it was for Noxolo I wouldn't have got the items and help I needed.
