survillience cameras at till points are dummies

last week on the 4th of may i lost a phone at clicks, i had it in my hand while i was in the queue chatting. i realised when after i left the the store but it was in less dan 10 minutes after i left the store. i went bak to the store asked the cashier i paid with (Named Nathi on the slip) he said he ddnt c it. i walked around looking for it at the areas of the store i went to. but couldnt find it. i den approach 1 of the shop assistants asked if they can assist me view cameras, the shop assistant said the manager is not in i must come bak tomorow. i went there the ff day and they said the person who views cameras is not in and dey dnt know when he will be bak. failing to understand that i phoned customer care told dem my story, dey phoned the store and dey promised to find the guy responsible the ff day and assist me. on the ff day wednesday they told me the guy said there are no cameras at the till point which was a lie because i saw cameras on the walls behind the cashiers. i den asked customer care to log a complaint for me. today i recieve a call from the store manager and dey now say those cameras i saw arent working they are dummies for security reason. what security?
