Stuck with medication

Purchased medicine on Thursday 14/05 and when I got home I realised that it expires June 2020. I took it back Saturday morning at I got to the store at 13:45 and the doors were closed and the security told me the store closes at 14:00. On Sunday I went to a clicks closest to me and I was told to take it back to the clicks where I purchased the product.
