Special offer not in stock, damaged products

<p>I went to the Parkview Clicks (Pretoria) yesterday to purchase a few items including a special offer advertised in the 'pay day savings' leaflet - "Purchase any Colab Dry Shampoo 200ml and receive a FREE Rio Dry Shampoo 200ml". I could not find the dry shampoo anywhere in the hair care section, and eventually found a couple of cannisters at the very back of the store in a corner with a bunch of other random items. </p> <p>Upon further investigation I found that there was no Rio in sight, and to add to that nearly all of the cannisters' lids were damaged. I then proceeded to ask an employee if I could get a different colour dry shampoo instead of Rio, seeing as there was no stock. Although she was very friendly and willing to help, she could not answer my question.</p> <p>I then proceeded to the till. I asked the staff behind the till the same question. A lady who looked like she might have been the manager attempted to find a leaflet, and taking her sweet time, paged through the leaflet until I eventually pointed out the products. She then took her time to read the special offer, and explained to me that Rio was out of stock, which I already knew by then. I had to then ask the question again and she then only explained that I won't be able to take a different colour dry shampoo. There was no mention of new stock or any explanation. </p> <p>I found the whole experience extremely frustrating as I am a big supporter of Clicks. </p>
