Shocking service that wasted my time!

On Friday 17 June 2016 I went to the Clicks Atterbury store in Pretoria. I don't frequent Clicks stores that much anymore because their service isn't great and neither are their prices, but I had received an sms saying that my clubcard had been loaded with R68 in vouchers.

When I got to the till with my huge basket of shopping, Dorcas the cashier barely greeted me and was very offhand. I asked to use my points to which Dorcas responded that there were no points on my card. I insisted and she said she would check. I had already put my credit card on the counter to pay along with my clubcard because I had two small kiddies with me and the next thing I was getting the card machine shoved at me with her saying "pin please". I put in my pin and verified that my points had been used to which she rep****, "there are no points!".

I showed her the sms I had received and she saw I wasn't going to let it go so she asked me to move over while she assisted another customer, and said that her collegue would assist me. After 10 minutes of being ignored I was eventually assisted and the supervisor came to me to say that there were in fact R68 worth of points on my card. I asked him if the transaction could be reversed to include these points but all he said was that I would have to come in again.

I explained that I had come in especially to use the points and was met with a meek "Well sorry..." and no further offer of assistance. Had my children not been getting restless I would taken it further but I find it ridiculous that I have to fight to use my own points, and yet again Clicks had disappointed with their indifferent and shoddy instore service!
