Seriously unhappy
There has recently been an influx of temporarily employed pharmacist assistants at Clicks pharmacies and I don't know if they don't get training or if the training they get is insufficient but whichever it is is not working. I went to the Clicks pharmacy at Northmead Mall and too many of the pharmacist assistants there were new and slow, and one of them made a mistake with my medication - I even had to return to the pharmacy to have the error corrected. Thankfully, the manager was really helpful and got the issue sorted quick but I suspect she'll be dealing with more of these kinds of issues if the pharmacy doesn't get organised. I honestly will not be returning to that Clicks pharmacy because I spent money and time going back to a pharmacy that is NOWHERE NEAR my neighbourhood to get an issue sorted out that was caused by Clicks.
My second issue with Clicks is that on top of the pharmacy staff crisis, the pharmacies never have a full stock of meds. I have been running around multiple Clicks stores trying to get medications and multiple Clicks stores don't have them. Every time I go to a Clicks pharmacy to get my meds, there's always something on the prescription list that they don't have (and I go to multiple Clicks pharmacies). It's become so bad I think the next and last time I go, I'll make a bet with the pharmacist assistant that I bet there's something on there that they don't have. It's disappointing. Now I see why people prefer Dischem. I too will be going there from now on - driving past at least four different Clicks pharmacies because you don't have the meds anyway and your pharmacist assistants are new and make sloppy mistakes because you don't train them/the training they get isn't good enough.
The one star is for the manager at Clicks Northmead Mall (name starts with the letter 'L') because she was helpful and understanding.
