I emailed Clicks complaints on Tuesday and have given them sufficient time to respond, even just to say we are following up but I have not had the curtesy of any feedback.

On Thursday the 4th May I went to Clicks with a script for the following medication:

Keagan Needham

Urbanol 10 mg x 6 repeats

Deangelo Needham

Urbanol 5mg x 6 repeats

Methylphenidate 10 mg x 6 repeats

Margaux Needham

Cataflam

Stilpain

The script was issued by Dr N Pillay from Healthworx Randpark Ridge.

I requested that only 10 of each be dispensed. I said I would come back for the balance as firstly the doctor wanted us to see how the medication works and I did not have enough money to pay for a full month. When I got home I realised that the cataflam had also not been dispensed.

On Saturday 13th May my husband went to get my Stilpain and he was told that I had taken 100 on the 4th May. It is impossible to take 100 Stilpain in a period of 9 days. The pharmacist refused to dispense more than 10.

On Sunday 14th May we went to get the balance of the medication for Keagan and Deangelo. The pharmacist informed us that I had taken 20 Urbanol for Deangelo and would only prescribe 10, so now Deangelo is short 10 tablets.

Clearly the pharmacist who did the original script captured the information incorrectly. This needs to be rectified as a matter of urgency as my son needs his Urbanol.

On Friday 12th May I went to Clicks with a script from Dr Atiya for Lyrica and Targinact. The pharmacist loaded it on the system but medical aid would not pay so we said we would come back on Sunday. On Sunday (14th May) the pharmacist dispensed the Lyrica but never had stock of the Targinact. We went to Dischem but Clicks had already loaded it as dispensed so they were unable to dispense it. The pharmacist from Dischem phoned Clicks three times to reverse the script and it was never done.

Clicks also put through a claim from Friday (12th May) to our medical aid for R756.83 FOR MEDICATION NOT RECEIVED.(Copy of claim from Discovery attached). This is to be reversed.

In addition I want Deangelo’s Urbanol sorted out as well as my Stilpain.

Finally, after this appalling service from Clicks we want to move all our repeat scripts from Clicks to Dischem. Please advise how we can do this.
