Safeway Heater bad quality

I ordered a 2 Bar Safeway Heater online from Clicks last year and have not used it much. It has been safely packed away until this a month ago. I have not used it a lot or constantly. (Only a few hours at a time ) So imagine my disgust when I plugged it in yesterday and saw that one of the bars is no longer working! How weird is it that it would break JUST after the guarantee might expire? I also tried to phone the Customer Care Line but the lady put me on hold and then hung up on me. I know we all have bad days, and products do break through wear and tear, but seriously? WILL NEVER BUY SAFEWAY PRODUCTS AGAIN!
