Safeway Electric Blankets: Junk

I bought a Safeway electric blanket from Clicks. It worked well for one season. Now, during the second season, one-night last week, after warming up the bed for a short while, when I went to bed to switch it off, I noticed it just went off by itself. I tried different plugs, wall sockets, etc., but to no avail. Unfortunately, it's just out of the guarantee period, and I don't even have the proof of purchase anymore on hand, so I didn't even bother to try to return it to Clicks.

I have found their Safeway products to be of inferior quality.

I had a look at the "Pure Pleasure" brand of electric blankets at Game, but having had a look at it carefully, it looks exactly like the Safeway junk I bought.

Don't waste your time with either of them.
