Sad customer

I recently had a bad experience at the clicks prominade mall where while paying I remembered that I was forgetting something and asked the cashier if I could quickly grab it and pay for it, she answered sure I could as there was a long queue forming at the tills, asked her if she could keep an eye on my paid items with my cologne on the trolley and she agreed bt when I came back she was gone so was my cologne, raised the issue with the clicks management, was told she's gone to lunch and for them to believe me they needed proof of purchase from Dischem who gladly gave it, she was called in after a while searching for her bt verbalised she didn't know where my cologne was when I asked her how could she have left for lunch after giving me her word she would look after my trolley, she answered she didn't see the time. Long story short the manager on the day said she will see to the matter and call me, it's almost 2 weeks now without them calling me or updating me.
