RUDE STAFF & BAD MANAGEMENT AT CLICKS PLEIN STREET

To whom it may concern,

I am writing this in the hopes that the unprofessional behavior of staff at CLICKS, PLEIN STREET is addressed. On 15 January, I went to clicks to make a purchase. Whilst in store I tried on a fragrance, a security guard immediately came up to me and said : "Sisi, it is 2019. Don't you think you should buy your own perfume"' Since when is that an appropriate manner for a member of staff to address a customer? I let the security guard know that I did not appreciate their conduct and requested a manager. Luandie Williams, the "manager" on duty proceeded to tell me that testing of fragrances was not allowed on customers. I challenged this because I shop at numerous stores and have never experienced this line of questioning.

After I informed the "manager" of the comments made by the security guard she did absolutely nothing. I was expecting an acknowledgement of wrong doing and an apology for the way that I was treated and was met with a blank stare.

I found the attitude of the management very condescending and wonder how they determine who gets to test fragrances and who doesn't? I am also a professional woman and do not appreciate being called "Sisi" so casually by Clicks staff.

All in all a disheartening experiences and a loss of a loyal and valuable customer for Clicks.

I sincerely hope this reaches someone who can have a word with the staff at CLICKS, PLEIN STREET and make sure that another customer doesn't have the same terrible experience.
