Rude cashiers
I have never received bad service from any Clicks store except Sancardia. The first time it happened, I put the experience down to this is probably another human being having a bad day. Let me not take it to heart. It happened the second time with a lady called Koekie and I become a little irritated because I began to think this is the norm. Today was the 3rd time and I have honestly had enough of it. I got to queue and once again miss Koekie was there and turned away to go sign what seems like the time sheet together with 2 other ladies. There was one cashier who I made eye contact with and he made hand signals for me to come to the till which I was not expecting him to assist because he was wrapping up with another customer. I was grateful for the assistance until I got to his till and he did not even greet. So I am guessing he thought he was doing me favour as a paying customer because his colleagues were unwilling to assist me. He took the item I bought and scanned it gave me change did not say a word until I asked if there are any straws as I needed one for my drink. I suppose it was too much effort for him to respond as he mumbled mm uhm. The name on my till slip is Kabelo so I am not sure if it the correct person because if he was wearing a name tag it wasn't on his jacket. As someone who works in a client facing environment I am appalled because why do you work with people if you do not have a decent way of doing so. It also shows a lot about common courtesy which is seems quite a few of your employees lack at Clicks Sancardia. Really annoying. Let your staff do better because South Africa has a very high unemployment rate of people who would be more than willing to take their place. They can go sit at home and be rude to their friends or family but such disrespect is not a good look for any business.
