Rude and inefficient

<p>I was ill last week and my daughter went to collect my script for me at Clicks Brackenhurst. When she got back we saw that one of the medications was different to the one on the script and was also three times more expensive. The pharmacist had not explained I couldn’t get one of the meds and asked if the more expensive option was suitable. I went back over the weekend to rectify this but I was told to come back the next week when the manager was there. When I returned on Monday the person who helped me tried to turn me away so I asked to speak to the manager. She told us to stand to the side. After waiting approximately 20 minutes without acknowledgement we left. I phoned today and after I explained my story the head pharmacist, Kgomotso, said she would call back. She did so but it was only to fling insults at my daughter and myself. She said the pharmacist who helped us said he did tell us the medicine was not being made anymore and that we are therefore lying. She then said she could not take the medicine back because of the law. I know she cannot take it back and RESELL it, however, she can still refund our money. As to what she does with it or who assumes responsibility for the loss, is not our problem. She went on to say we did not return it fast enough despite the fact that this was already the THIRD time we were trying to resolve the issue. She also said we should have questioned why the price was so high even though we did not know how much the other meds cost. Therefore it was our fault. The irony is that if the pharmacist had just apologized and explained his mistake we would have just left it. Instead he told an outright lie and Kgomotso supported him and treated us despicably. Therefore I no longer have sympathy for them. The more my daughter tried to tell her that she did not want to fight but would rather find a solution, the more she fought with her. Generally, I try to avoid this pharmacy because they are so rude and inefficient but that day it was more convenient. For your own good, I need to tell you I barely know anyone who supports them because of the same issue. I have lost count of the amount of times people have been driven to shout at them and storm out. While I was there on Monday, a gentleman was yelling at the male pharmacist who helped us initially because does not have enough manners to address people properly. Even the tellers have a standing joke about how often your pharmacy drives people LITERALLY crazy. You seriously need to do something</p>
