REFUSAL BY CLICKS TO HONOUR A MANUFACTURERS GUARANTEE

April 2022. I purxhased a KAMBROOK 700W JUICE EXTREACTOR Advertised as THE SMARTER CHOICE During May 2022 the SMARTER CHOICE developed a projectile leak Being under factory guarantee, I returned the unit, in its full packaging and with the till slip to the Clicks store at Vergelegen Plein in Somerset West. After much phoning around the management sourced a replacement at Circle Centre Where I duly collected the replacement as an exchange for the defective unit. A fresh till slip was issued and the guarantee of 12 months was reinstated. In September 2022 THE KAMBROOK SMARTER CHOICE developed a mechanical failure and smoke started pouring from the electrical engine. I thus once again repackaged the defective unit and returned it to the Store of Origin.Which was the CLICKS store at Vergelegen Plein. After much phoning around a replacement was discovered, once again at the CLICKS store in the CIRCLE centre. I thus went to the CLICKS at the cycle centre in Somerset West and was issued with a new unit and a fresh new till slip. Once again extending the Guarantee for 12 months. On 28th February 2023... NB whilst still under the original 12 Month warranty issued on the FIRST defective unit, I once again returned the defective unit to the store of origin, which was the CLICKS at Vergelegen Plein. After much phoning around, I was again sent to the CLICKS in the CIRCLE centre in Somerset West. There I was issued with a new KAMBROOK Juice Extractor. BUT the manager bluntly refused to update the till slip as the unit had been replaced before. On questioning whether this unit under discussion was a reconditioned unit, the manager of the store, brushed off the question and refused to issue an update till slip. On questioning the reason for the refusal to update the till slip the managers answer was that the unit had been returned before and that "procedure" now did not permit him to issue a fresh till slip
