******, wrongful accusations, terrible service and inhumane treatment

Clicks Pharmacy in Kloof... shocking display of ****** and terrible customer service! I witnessed a young white woman purchase items worth over R1000. When she got to the security point they found that something worse less than R15 had not been scanned and paid for. They accused the error from the teller to be shop-lifting by the customer.... now, common sense... if a customer was spending over R1000, why would they try to ***** an item worth less than R15???? Security detained this poor young woman even though she asked if she could just pay for this item and that it was clearly a mistake. The response was shocking... the tellers and security guard made statements like, "You white woman must go to jail" and "Dont think we will feel sorry for you for being white." Race had absolutely nothing to do with this incident. The police arrived and took this young woman away. I gave her my business card and asked her to update me with the outcome. The case went to court and immediately got thrown out of court as this was apparently not the first incident like this from the Clicks in Kloof. Absolutely disgusting, Clicks! Sort out your management and staff in Kloof, KZN, or be prepared for a boycott and loss of business. I for one will never go back there again. ******, blaming and accusing customers, and terrible service has no place in a major pharmaceutical company.
