Promotional display were misleading

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the pricing of four nail polishes I purchased at Clicks, The Cresent - Umhlanga.

I purchased four nail polishes after being informed by the staff member assisting me that the nail polishes were on special. I specifically asked her about the promotion, and she advised me that they were approximately R7 less than the normal price.

However, when I arrived home and checked my receipt, I noticed that only two of the four nail polishes had been discounted, while the other two were charged at the normal price.

I then checked the Clicks website to verify the prices and found that the normal price of one of the nail polishes was R49, while the other was R39,95. What concerns me is that the products were displayed with promotional stickers indicating “Was” and “Now”, which gave the impression that all four products were on promotion.

I therefore feel that the pricing and promotional display were misleading. I also re**** on the information provided by the staff member when making my purchase.

I would appreciate it if Clicks could investigate this matter and clarify why the products were displayed as being on promotion when two of them were charged at the normal price. I would also appreciate a refund or adjustment for the difference, if the promotional pricing was indeed applicable to the products I purchased.

I can provide a copy of my receipt and photographs of the promotional stickers/products if required.
