Prescription added to Medical Aid without consent
Dear Clicks,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an issue with my prescription that was recently processed without my consent. At the end of October, I received a two-month prescription, of which I collected one month's supply. I had not intended to collect the second prescription this month, as it was not immediately necessary.
However, I was contacted today by Olivedale Clicks Pharmacy, who informed me that the second prescription had already been prepaid via my medical aid, and I was expected to collect it. This was unexpected, as I understand that normally, in-person visits are required for deductions from my medical aid. I was told they could arrange for delivery via Uber, which made me feel pressured into agreeing.
I would like to understand why this prescription was added to my medical aid without my prior consent. I request that Olivedale Clicks arrange for the collection of the prescription from my residence and that the amount of R366 be reimbursed to my medical aid account as soon as possible.
This situation is highly concerning, and I expect a prompt resolution. I look forward to your immediate attention to this matter.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Please find attached pictures of the prescription.
