Poor service with online order

I ordered essential items on 24/05/21 as working full-time makes it difficult to shop in the week. The website says delivery within 1-3 working days. I still have not received my order, 7 days later. I had to go and buy some of the items over the weekend as we could not wait any longer. When I phoned customer services they said there was a delay. Should that not have been stated on the website when I ordered. Very poor service. Dischem delivers as stated.
